Choosing a photographer is an important decision. Below, you will find answers to common questions about booking Snapnest, our photography services, the creative process, and the delivery of your finished photographs. If you have a question that is not answered here, please contact us or request a consultation. We will be happy to discuss your plans and recommend the most suitable service.

How do I request availability and start the booking process?

Please contact Snapnest through the Contact page and include your preferred date, location, type of photography service, and any additional information that may help us understand your plans.

We aim to reply within 24 hours with information about availability and the next steps.

What happens during the initial consultation?

The initial consultation is an opportunity for us to learn more about your plans, priorities, and expectations. It also allows you to ask questions, discuss your preferred photographic style, and determine whether our approach is right for you. We will also explain the relevant services, coverage options, and next steps in the booking process.

The consultation is informal and does not commit you to booking.

For wedding clients in Warsaw, consultations can take place in person. For couples based outside Warsaw, consultations are held by video call. Portrait and milestone consultations are generally arranged by video call or telephone, although an in-person meeting may be possible in Warsaw by prior arrangement.

What is discussed during a wedding consultation?

The wedding consultation is an informal conversation about your plans, expectations, and the way you would like your wedding to be photographed. It is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, understand what matters most to you, and discuss how Snapnest could support you throughout the day.

We usually talk about your wedding schedule, ceremony and reception locations, approximate timings, and any logistical considerations. We also discuss the atmosphere you would like to create in the photographs, including your preferences for documentary, naturally observed images and more guided or posed portraits.

Depending on your plans, we may also discuss formal family photographs, guests, particular traditions, or moments you would like us to be aware of, as well as the level of coverage that would be most appropriate.

We can answer questions about our wedding photography packages, editing style, albums, prints, and the delivery of your photographs.

The consultation may take place in person for couples based in Warsaw or by video call for couples elsewhere. It is a relaxed, collaborative conversation and does not commit you to booking. If Snapnest feels like the right fit for your wedding, we will prepare a personalised proposal based on the information discussed.

What is actually photographed during a Wedding Reportage?

Wedding reportage follows the story of your day as it naturally unfolds, from the first preparations to the final moments of the celebration. Every wedding is different, so the photographs will reflect your plans, surroundings, relationships, and the atmosphere of the day. Depending on your schedule and chosen coverage, we may photograph:

- The wedding venue before guests arrive

- The ceremony space, reception room, garden, courtyard, or outdoor setting

- The exterior of the venue and its surroundings

- Architectural details and meaningful features of the location

- The ceremony altar, arch, floral arrangements, candles, chairs, and decorations

- The reception tables, place settings, menus, stationery, name cards, and favours

- The wedding dress, suit, shoes, jewellery, veil, flowers, rings, and other personal details

- Invitations, vows, family heirlooms, gifts, and sentimental objects

- The couple getting ready separately or together

- Hair and make-up preparations

The standard wedding reportage package includes:

Photography during preparations, the ceremony, and the reception, with up to 11 hours of coverage
A short couple and family portrait session
Professional editing, including fine-art colour grading
Selective advanced editing and natural beauty retouching
Approximately 300–350 edited, high-resolution photographs
A private online gallery
A USB drive containing your full collection of photographs

What does the wedding reportage package include?

Do you offer wedding photography outside Warsaw?

Yes. Snapnest offers wedding photography in Warsaw and selected cities across Poland. Please provide your wedding date and location when contacting us. We will confirm availability and calculate any applicable travel costs individually. These costs will be presented clearly in your personalised quotation. Portrait, baptism, First Communion and other milestone services are currently available in Warsaw.

How many photographs will we receive from our wedding reportage?

The standard wedding reportage package includes approximately 300–350 edited, high-resolution photographs. The final number depends on the length and structure of the day, the amount of coverage, and the moments that naturally occur. Our priority is to provide a carefully edited collection that tells the story of your wedding rather than a large number of images.

A Snapnest wedding album is designed as a personal art object—not simply as a collection of photographs placed between covers.

Izabela brings extensive knowledge of art photobooks to the process. This experience informs the way she considers the album as a complete visual and tactile work: its rhythm, sequence, pacing, and materials.

The album is created collaboratively with you. We begin by selecting the photographs that best express the atmosphere, relationships, and story of your wedding day. Izabela then develops the sequence and layout, considering how each image relates to the next and how the story unfolds across individual pages and spreads.

Together, we discuss the album’s format, cover, paper, materials, and overall character, so that the finished book reflects both your wedding and your personal taste. You will receive a digital design proof to review, and the final album is produced only after the design has been approved.

The result is a carefully crafted, lasting object that allows your wedding photographs to be experienced as a coherent visual story—one that can be returned to, held, and enjoyed for years to come.

How do you create a bespoke wedding album?

A Portrait Consultation is an opportunity to discuss the purpose and the kind of portrait you want, who will be photographed, and how you would like the images to feel. We may discuss possible locations, clothing, styling, timing, lighting, and any personal details or ideas you would like to incorporate. We can also recommend whether the Essential or Extended Portrait Session would be more suitable for your plans. If the session is for a family, child, or personal milestone, we will discuss how to create photographs that feel natural and meaningful while allowing space for both guided portraits and spontaneous interactions.

What is discussed during a Portrait Consultation?

We recommend booking wedding photography as early as possible, especially for popular dates during the wedding season. Portrait and milestone sessions may often be arranged with less notice, subject to availability.

If you already know your date and location, we recommend contacting us as soon as possible so that we can confirm whether we are available. For portraits and milestone events, early contact is also advisable if you have a specific date, location, or delivery deadline in mind.

How far in advance should I book?

How is my date secured?

Your date is secured once the required deposit has been received. Before booking, we will send you a personalised proposal outlining the agreed service, coverage, payment schedule, and the complete terms of the transaction. The proposal will also include any other relevant details specific to your event.

How are the finished photographs edited?

Each selected photograph is individually edited using advanced imaging techniques to create a consistent and carefully finished collection. Colour, contrast, tonal balance, and overall consistency are considered across the photographs.

Advanced beauty retouching is used selectively and naturally. The editing reflects Snapnest’s digital imaging expertise, with the aim of preserving the atmosphere and character of each image while producing a refined, print-ready result.

Standard portrait and milestone sessions are delivered within approximately 3–4 weeks through a private online gallery. Wedding reportage photographs are delivered within approximately 4–6 weeks. Wedding clients receive their high-resolution photographs through a private online gallery and on a USB drive. The precise delivery time for wedding photography will be confirmed in your personalised proposal.
